About BrynoDC
Independent legal journalism covering federal courts
Who I Am
I'm Bryan K. Randolph — independent legal journalist, educator, and the one person behind BrynoDC. My background is in law and journalism. I cover federal courts the way a beat reporter covers a city hall: daily, on the record, and in plain language that doesn't require a law degree to follow.
BrynoDC launched in the summer of 2025 as the Trump administration's second term accelerated a wave of federal litigation unlike anything seen in recent decades. I built the Morning Report to track that litigation in real time — case by case, ruling by ruling, with context that explains not just what happened but why it matters.
This tracker is the database behind the coverage: every case I follow, every ruling I've reported on, organized so you can find what you're looking for and see how the pieces connect.
What I Cover
- Federal district and circuit court litigation challenging executive power
- Supreme Court cases — argued, pending, and decided
- Immigration enforcement and habeas litigation
- First Amendment and civil liberties cases
- Separation of powers: executive orders, agency action, congressional authority
- DOJ enforcement priorities and personnel
